Nimonic 90 sheets and plates primarily comprise nickel as the base element, with 18-21% chromium, 15-21% cobalt, and additions of 2-3% titanium and 1-2% aluminum. Trace amounts of iron, manganese, silicon, copper, carbon, sulfur, boron, zirconium, lead, and other elements contribute to its mechanical robustness. The alloy offers an ultimate tensile strength of approximately 1175 MPa, yield strength near 752 MPa, and elongation of about 30%. It maintains excellent creep resistance and stress-rupture strength up to 920°C, along with good oxidation and corrosion resistance.
