Nimonic 80A sheets and plates are primarily composed of about 75% nickel, 18-21% chromium, 1.8-2.7% titanium, with additions of aluminum and carbon. This age-hardenable alloy provides excellent tensile strength (~827 MPa minimum), yield strength (~414 MPa minimum), and elongation (~20%), along with remarkable creep rupture resistance at temperatures up to 815°C (1500°F). The material also exhibits good oxidation and corrosion resistance, with a smooth surface finish that enhances its suitability for precise and high-performance engineering applications. Thickness ranges from 0.1 mm to 20 mm, widths up to 1000 mm, and lengths up to 3000 mm, offering versatile solutions.
