Nickel Alloy 201 Coil is a top-notch, low-carbon nickel alloy that’s perfect for situations where you need outstanding corrosion resistance, thermal stability, and durability. As a commercially pure wrought nickel alloy, Nickel 201 stands out with its impressive resistance to caustic solutions, acids, and high-temperature oxidation. Thanks to its low carbon content, it minimizes carbide precipitation, making it a great choice for high-temperature operations. These coils are not only easy to form and weld but also boast strong mechanical properties, making them ideal for industries like chemical processing, power generation, pharmaceuticals, and marine applications. Nickel Alloy 201 Coils are built to deliver reliable performance in tough, corrosive, and high-temperature industrial settings.
Nickel Alloy 201 Coil is made up of about 99.6% nickel, with small amounts of iron, manganese, copper, silicon, and a controlled carbon content of less than 0.02%. This unique blend gives it remarkable resistance to caustic alkalis, neutral salts, and reducing environments. On the mechanical side, Nickel 201 showcases good tensile and yield strength, along with excellent ductility and toughness, even when the heat is on. Its low carbon content boosts its resistance to graphitization, allowing it to perform better at higher temperatures compared to Nickel 200. Plus, the alloy maintains great thermal and electrical conductivity, making it a fantastic choice for heat-exposed applications.
