Inconel 617 Coils consist primarily of 44.5% minimum nickel, 20-24% chromium, 10-15% cobalt, 8-10% molybdenum, and 0.8-1.5% aluminum. Minor elements include iron (max 3%), manganese (max 1%), silicon (max 1%), carbon (0.05-0.15%), sulfur (max 0.015%), titanium (max 0.6%), copper (max 0.5%), and boron (max 0.006%). These coils offer tensile strength up to approximately 758 MPa, yield strength near 275 MPa, and elongation around 30%. The alloy exhibits excellent resistance to oxidation, carburization, and a variety of corrosive environments at elevated temperatures up to 1100°C (2000°F).
